Position Summary:

The First Officer/Second in Command (SIC) supports the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft by assisting the Pilot in Command (PIC) in all flight duties. This role involves close collaboration with the PIC to ensure that all flight operations are conducted in compliance with company policies, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and industry standards. The SIC plays a critical role in monitoring aircraft systems, communicating with flight services, and ensuring a seamless flight experience for passengers. This position requires a high level of professionalism, safety awareness, and customer service.

Pilot Schedule & Program Overview (Pilot Roles Only)
This position supports a Part 135 operation flying a Global 6000 based in Englewood, CO (APA). The aircraft averages approximately 350 flight hours annually, consisting of about 200 hours of owner flying and 150 hours of charter operations. The operation is crewed by 3 pilots and 1 aircraft maintenance manager and conducts international and domestic flights. Qualifications:

  • Flight Experience:
    • 2500 total flight hours, including a minimum of 1500 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft.
    • Turbine experience preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine land rating required.
    • Current First-Class Medical Certificate required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and flight operations procedures.
    • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to operate effectively as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM and flight management systems.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience with Bombardier Global aircraft is highly desirable.
    • Mountain flying experience, such as flying in Aspen, CO (KASE) is highly desirable.
    • Previous experience in Part 135 operations is highly desirable.

This is an exempt position which requires flexibility to meet the demands of business.
