Purpose of the role is to assist the Ground Operations department with its administration, including filing of all Flight Folders, as well as providing responses to Customers concerning cargo loadability requests received via email.
Key Accountabilities:
- Mark and correct all Weight & Balance Training exercises received from other Stations and advise results to the Manager Ground Operations.
- Provide ASL Departments and/or external Customers with feedback and responses to loadability questions regarding the approval of outsize shipments for carriage on ASL aircraft.
- Update and follow-up on Training Database to ensure that all staff (both internal and external) are up-to-date and current in all areas of required training to perform their duties. Provide feedback to the Ground Operations Manager on any staff that have expired training and ensure the database reflects the correct status.
- Support and assist the follow-up and updating of all new ULD specifications, both in the relevant systems. Assist with the
- maintenance and status of ASL ULD stock.
- Provide administrative support in the preparation of the scheduled Weight&Balance Training Courses.
- Monitor the performance of the Aircraft Cleaning companies contracted by ASL to ensure their standard of service is at the required level. Bring any deviation or complaint to the attention of the Ground Operations Manager for further action.
- Carry out the rostering of Loadmasters when the Ground Operations Officer is on leave. Assist both the Ground Operations Manager and Officer in the investigation of any Safety-related incidents and provide support and input when necessary.
- Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
