About the Role
Elit’Avia Ltd. is seeking an On-Board Flight Engineer – Boeing 737 BBJ. The On-Board Flight Engineer is responsible for providing technical and maintenance support during aircraft operations for a Boeing 737 BBJ registered in San Marino. The position ensures the aircraft remains airworthy, technically supported, and operationally ready throughout all flight operations, AOG situations, international deployments, and remote operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany aircraft during international operations as required.
- Provide on-board technical expertise during all phases of flight operations.
- Monitor aircraft technical condition and system status during operations.
- Support troubleshooting and defect assessment in coordination with maintenance
control.
- Coordinate rectification actions with approved maintenance organizations and
contracted service providers.
- Manage technical support during AOG events and unscheduled maintenance situations.
- Ensure all technical documentation and aircraft records remain current and properly
maintained.
- Liaise with EASA Part-145 organizations and approved maintenance providers
worldwide.
- Coordinate line maintenance activities during operational stops.
- Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, San Marino aircraft registry requirements,
and manufacturer requirements.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License.
- B1 and/or B2 category license preferred.
- Boeing 737 NG / BBJ type rating endorsed on the license.
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Experience in VIP or business aviation operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part-M / CAMO, Part-145, and Part-66 regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation capability.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Human Factors training.
- EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety training.
- SMS and aviation safety training.
- Valid passport without international travel restrictions.
Working Conditions
- Extensive international travel.
- Irregular working hours including weekends and holidays.
- Long-duration overseas deployments may be required.
- Availability for short-notice missions and AOG support.
