Qualifications & Experience Required:

1.       Holder of a current ICAO type II Aircraft Maintenance        Engineer’s License in category B1.2 with group type ratings covering at least three airframe and engine types (DA40, DA42 , PA28 , PA34) , maintenance license should be accepted by the State of Qatar

2.       At least five (5) years’ experience as a type rated license engineer working in the general aviation environment.

3.       At least two (2) years’ recent experience working, in a certifying capacity, on two or more of the types of aircraft and engines maintained by the Department.

4.       At least one (1) year experience as Maintenance supervisor/ Chief Engineer within an approved maintenance organization

5.       At least three (3) years’ experience in managerial capacity within an approved maintenance organization, preferably an EASA 145 or CAA B1.2.

6.       At least one (1) year experience in a continuing airworthiness environment

7.       Experience with FAA regulations will be an added advantage
