We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Base Manager to join our new base in Newcastle. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the crew within the base, with a particular focus on cabin crew and pilot welfare and support. You will be accountable for driving crew performance and engagement, while ensuring operational excellence within the base. There is a flying element to this role where training is provided.  

As the Base Manager, your key responsibilities will include leading an effective crew community, line managing People Support Managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture. You will be managing crew performance and conduct, crew welfare and support, and maintaining Health and Safety standards in line with local and easyJet requirements. You will also take responsibility for organising base communications, delivering innovative and effective communications using multiple channels.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in leading and developing a high-performing team, a background in operational delivery aligned with strategic goals and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You must also possess excellent organisation, administration, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritise in an ever-changing environment.
