Your Competitive Edge
- Base Compensation $65,000 - $130,000, depending on experience, per the Jet Access Flight Crew Compensation Plan, paid bi-weekly.
- Variable compensation based on aircraft assignment and experience.
- This position is classified as FLSA Exempt.

Where You Make Your Mark
The First Officer at Jet Access serves as an essential crewmember across a diverse fleet of managed and charter aircraft, directly supporting safe, compliant, and exceptional flight operations. Working alongside Captains and the broader flight operations team, the First Officer upholds the highest standards of airmanship while delivering the client experience that defines the Jet Access brand. Flight Operations and Safety Excellence
- • Conduct aircraft operations and all related assignments in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and applicable company policies
- • Ensure compliance with flight and duty-time limitations and rest period requirements per established regulations and company policy
- • Maintain proficiency and currency as a required crewmember on all assigned aircraft types
- • Lead pre-flight planning, weather analysis, NOTAMs review, and all flight preparation activities in coordination with the assigned Captain
- • Assist the Captain with all flight-related duties, crew resource management responsibilities, and emergency procedures
Client Service and Relationship Excellence
- • Foster and maintain outstanding client relationships through attentive, friendly, and professional response to all travel needs
- • Deliver passenger service that consistently exceeds expectations and reinforces the Jet Access standard of excellence
- • Coordinate with the flight operations team to ensure seamless, disruption-free travel experiences for all passengers
- • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that represents the Jet Access brand with distinction at all times
- • Anticipate and accommodate special client requests with discretion, flexibility, and a service-first mindset
Professional Development and Crew Collaboration
- • Participate actively in all required training, recertification programs, and recurrent proficiency events to maintain full currency
- • Collaborate effectively with Captains, flight operations staff, and maintenance personnel to support coordinated, safe operations
- • Contribute to a strong safety culture through proactive hazard identification, honest reporting, and active engagement in safety programs
- • Apply crew resource management principles consistently across all phases of flight and ground operations
- • Support cross-functional team initiatives and bring a collaborative, team-first attitude to every assignment
Compliance, Documentation, and Operational Integrity
- • Maintain working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations
- • Ensure all flight documentation, trip records, and required paperwork are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
- • Stay current with FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations applicable to assigned routes and aircraft
- • Communicate proactively with dispatch, maintenance, and scheduling to flag operational issues before they affect mission readiness
- • Uphold the operational integrity of the flight department by supporting audit readiness across ARGUS, Wyvern, and IS-BAO frameworks
Aircraft Stewardship and Ground Operations
- • Conduct thorough post-flight walkarounds and coordinate with maintenance on any discrepancies identified during or after flight
- • Manage aircraft appearance, interior condition, and cleanliness standards between flights in alignment with owner and client expectations
- • Support aircraft positioning, ferry flights, and repositioning assignments as directed by the Chief Pilot and scheduling team
- • Monitor aircraft systems during all phases of flight and communicate any anomalies promptly to the Captain and maintenance
- • Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Access’s continued growth and success
Who Thrives in This Seat
The Skills You Carry In
- • Minimum of 1,500-2,000 hours total flying time; 500 hours Pilot-in-Command total time required
- • Commercial Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating; ATP Certification strongly preferred
- • Current Second Class Medical Certificate, renewed every 12 months; First Class preferred
- • Completed initial or recurrent training on assigned aircraft type within the preceding 12 months
- • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations
- • Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations relevant to assigned routes
- • Proficiency with digital flight planning tools, avionics systems, and web-based or mobile flight applications
- • Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

What This Role Asks of You
- • This is a field-based, aircraft-based role; regular in-person presence at assigned base airports and charter departure points is required
- • Domestic and international travel is inherent to the position and may include extended overnight trips and multi-day assignments
- • Valid state driver’s license required for airport ground transportation and aircraft repositioning support
- • Physical stamina required for extended flight duty periods, overnight operations, and variable environmental conditions across diverse destinations
- • Ability to meet all FAA medical and physical standards required for Part 135 commercial operations

What the Days Look Like
- • 14 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule, charter demand, and owner travel requirements; flexibility is essential and expected

- • Domestic and international trips may require early departures, late arrivals, and multi-day sequences away from base
- • Evening and weekend availability is required and common; on-call periods are part of the role
- • Workload management across trip sequences, recurrent training windows, and compliance deadlines requires disciplined self-organization
- • Level 10 Meeting and all-hands attendance expectations apply when not on trip assignment; communication with dispatch and scheduling is continuous
What Sets You Apart
- • ATP Certificate already in hand, with turbine or jet aircraft time logged
- Challenger 604 (CL-64) type rating with 250 hours in type
- • Prior Part 135 or corporate flight operations experience in a managed fleet environment
- • Familiarity with Avianis, ForeFlight Dispatch, or similar scheduling and dispatch platforms used in charter operations
- • Experience operating internationally, including ICAO airspace, customs coordination, and overwater procedures
- • Track record of exceptional client service in a high-end or luxury service environment
