Position Overview
The B2 Engineer is responsible for carrying out avionics maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with aviation industry standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
The role requires solid technical knowledge in avionics systems, troubleshooting, and repair, while working collaboratively within the maintenance team to support operational targets.
The B2 Engineer reports to the Team Leader and supports efficient base maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and use aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures, manufacturer requirements, and safety standards.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required maintenance documentation.
- Report defects, findings, and technical issues to the Team Leader.
- Support the team in meeting project timelines and operational targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or compliance concerns.
- Carry out other maintenance-related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
- Valid EASA Part-66 B2 Licence.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations and aviation safety standards.
- At least 2 years of experience in an EASA Part-145 environment.
- Strong understanding of avionics systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Computer literate.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
