MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standards, policies, and procedures for Ground Operations (Above and Below wing) in line with GCAA Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR) Air Ops, IATA and ICAO best practices across flydubai network airports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, documents, and implements procedures in line with the airline standards, GCAA CAR Air Ops, IATA, ICAO, and industry best practices.
- Reviews and updates all procedures regularly to ensure that airline operational requirements are meet, this will include y safety standards, business and regulatory requirements set by GCAA or local regulatory body in the country of operations.
- Focuses on bringing effective operational standards, maintaining the highest levels of operational safety, efficiency, and service quality, to support flydubai’s reputation, compliance, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Collaborates closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all procedures align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Supports in regularly updating the Ground Handling Manual, ensuring the changes are tracked and documented well.
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline airline operations, minimize risks, and enhance efficiency across all airports in flydubai Network including DXB and DWC airports.
- Collaborates closely with Internal and External stakeholders, including Ground Service Providers (GSP) and Airport Operators across the network to ensure the processes, work instructions and documents and aligned in line with the agreed procedure accepted by all the stakeholders.
- Develops the Ramp process including turnaround management, deicing/ant-icing, fueling, and pushback procedures in line with SAE, JIG and IATA AHM and IGOM standards.
- Identifies any process gaps and relevant associated risks, implementing procedures that mitigate risk, ensuring the safety of staff, Passengers and Aircraft.
- Implements and develops station Quality control program for all areas (Above and Below wing), station administration, fueling, deicing and station management to ensure standardized operations are followed and maintained by network airports.
- Supports the development of various project including but not limited to DCS (Departure control system), Weight and Balance management other airport services related systems.
- Supports projects undertaken by the department, including but not limited to Aircraft induction, Ground Support Equipment Management and Unit Load Device (ULD) management.
- Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in airport operations, working closely with airport training department to provide on-the-job support and coaching to staff to ensure a thorough understanding of procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Languages
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)

Professional Experience
- In-depth knowledge of airport ground handling procedures and standards, both above and below the wing.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
- Check in DCS (SPRINT, Altea, Sabre etc) preferred

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
