Jetfly is a shared business aviation company based in Luxembourg, representing 450 co-owners. Our fleet consists of 70 Pilatus aircraft (PC12 and PC24), renowned for their exceptional combination of Swiss engineering and dedicated craftsmanship, delivering a superior flight, passenger, and operator experience that is unmatched. We have also recently added the Cirrus SF50, the world’s first single-engine private jet, to our fleet.
Our Ground Operations Manager is currently looking for her new deputy to form a strong pair to promote Ground Handling across the company and reinforce Jetfly’s sustainability as it is one of aviation’s top priorities.
The Deputy Ground Operations Manager will have knowledge of the current ground operational regulations and is able to implement actions to reduce carbon emissions, improve fuel efficiency, and integrate sustainable practices such as Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). He/She will report directly to the NPGO.
Role & responsibilities
- Monitor of the contract management and performance of the stations/airports and propose/take actions to improve ground handling.
- Identify, select, contract and monitor services of Ground Service Providers and other providers at Airports.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements with Ground Service Providers and internal departments to ensure commercial aspects as well to ensure safety, compliance and operational aspects of the operations as part of a Jetfly Group approach.
- Establish and maintain strong relationship with all clients, partners and networks.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as, gathering data, preparing reports, database management on all topics related to ground operations.
- Continue standardizing processes at our mains bases regarding cleaning and stocks
- Monitor regulatory and other industry changes affecting processes & procedures within the scope of Ground Operations and propose/implement changes if/where applicable.
- Evaluate and implement the corporate sustainability policy and program.
- Ensure compliance and gain expert-level knowledge with international, national, and local environmental regulations, including the EU ETS, UK ETS, CORSIA, French offset, Refuel EU, CSRD requirements.
- Establish and manage sustainability-related KPIs, mandatory MRV plans, audits, reports, and disclosures of our sustainability performance.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in aviation, sustainability, engineering, and/or a proven experience on a similar position.
- Preferably, knowledge of environmental regulations affecting aviation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and actions.
- Able to manage complex and multiple data streams (mastering Excel) for the operation, monitoring and reporting on sustainable actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Driven by continuous improvement, result oriented.
- Be capable of working independently as well as in a team.
- Fluent in English, French is a plus.
