Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for "Aircraft Mechanic B1 " in the Engineering Department. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Basic Function and Scope:
Carries out servicing, maintenance and inspection duties on incoming and outgoing aircraft. Includes undertaking check "A", preflight, transit and intermediate checks and undertaking repair of damage or defects reported in the technical log. Work is carried out on both K.A.C. aircraft and on those of other airlines by contract, under the direction of the supervisor or duty engineer.
- Under close supervision removes components, installations, etc., from the aircraft. Checks condition of such items and draws supervisor's attention to nature of repair required.
- Uses a variety of hand tools including spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., to carry out repairs as directed and ensures repair has been properly carried out .
- Liaises with stores personnel to obtain supplies, materials, tools, test equipment, etc.
- Dispatches unserviceable components removed from aircraft to Salvage Stores and serviceable components to Receipt Stores. Monitors suspect items dispatched to Suspect Room to determine their serviceability to be sent to Salvage or Receipt Stores accordingly. Keeps record of components’ allocated stores .
- Assists mechanics when carrying out new repair works of storage sheds, including carrying out work and providing mechanics with the proper tools whenever required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years aircraft Maintenance experience in Airline / MRO.
- High school Degree
