Technical Services support the ASL fleet of ATR72, Airbus A300, and A330, and Boeing 737-400/-800 aircraft by ensuring continuing airworthiness. One of the core Technical Services responsibilities is ensuring continued compliance with Airworthiness Directives (AD) and related mandatory Service Bulletins (SB). Candidates for this important role need to be effective communicators capable of reviewing complex technical data and operate to the highest standard consistently.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reporting directly to the Continuous Airworthiness Manager (CAM), perform weekly search for new EASA and FAA AD’s applicable to group fleet of ATR, 737 and A320/A330 aircraft and issue notification to Technical Services for review.
- Liaise with Technical Services Fleet Managers on new AD’s applicable to their section.
- Monitor the process of AD setup per procedure with Technical Services sections from receipt to final CAM sign off.
- Peer review of AMOS setup of any new AD’s that are applicable.
- Chair monthly group AD meeting with senior management.
- Running periodic reports in AMOS to ensure all AD’s applicable to group fleet are forecasting correctly.
- Draft and deliver presentations to explain complex AD’s as and when necessary.
- Review completed AD paperwork from Line and Base Maintenance work packs to ensure continued compliance and peer review of AD reporting back on AMOS.
- Act as point of contact with Line and Base Maintenance facilities on AD and related SB queries.
- Completion of Ad-Hoc projects assigned by the Continuous Airworthiness Manager as and when required.
- Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
