The DCTKI is responsible for deputising for the CTKI in their absence and assisting in the day-to-day management of the ATPL ground school. The DCTKI will retain a role as a TKI delivering high quality TKI instruction in accordance with the CAA & EASA, as well as LEA’s core values.
Duties include:
- Deputise for the CTKI
- Day-to-day admin within the management of ground school
- Maintenance and continual improvement of standards, course development, policies and procedures
- Standards and standardisation of TKIs
- Guidance and pastoral care to the students and TKIs
- Organising educational visits
- Delivering TKI lessons in accordance with ECBQ 2024, CAA & LEA policies and procedures
- Maintaining communications with other departments to ensure smooth delivery
- Show LEA off to its best at Open Days and external events
Skills:
- Managerial experience in an ATO
- Current ATPL Theory Instruction
- Excellent communication – verbal and written – with customers and employees
- Ability to show professionalism, resilience, commitment to excellence, and a passion for aviation
Full time, Monday–Friday.
