About the role:
Flight Dispatcher provides the Manager OCC (MOCC) with capable assistance in the organization of all pre-mission planning, flight planning and flight following.
Main Duties include but not limited to:
- Provide assistance to the MOCC/Flight Dispatch Controller in maintaining operations control. Deputize as shift in charge and operations controller when required. Promote safety, punctuality, and efficiency of the company operations by being a role model for team members.
- Plan and execute operational pre-flight preparation in accordance with local and foreign government rules and regulations, company flight operating manuals, corporate policies and procedures and customer requirements. Prepare navigational flight and fuel plans for all flights.
- Execute and ensure that necessary flight documents for crew are available in the EFB system or apply prescribed alternate manual process measure in a timely manner.
- Initiate and ensure arrangement of ground handling and fuel for flights that are scheduled to operate. Co-ordinate with Ground Services team for any discrepancies noticed.
- When required, communicate in a timely manner to all concerned (i.e. MOCC, Crew Services, Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Engineering, Security, etc.) for flight status, new flights or changes in flight schedule and/ or other related issues which may affect the operations.
- Undertake additional task or projects as assigned by MOCC/ SMGO which include but not limited to administer various system use in IOCC and Flight dispatch viz. SITA AIRCOM, Graflite, OMS and the yearly reporting of CORSIA and EU-ET Scheme.
