ATPL questions and Technical questions on Airbus 320 (45 questions). (Day 1)
Psychometric Test (Day 1)
Panel Interview (Human Resource questions) (Day 1)
Simulator Assessment (Day 2)

(1) ATPL questions (Day 1)

General ATPL Questions:

What does the abbreviation DER means?
Answer: Departure end of runway

What is Frontal Fog?
Answer: Frontal fog usually forms in the cold air ahead of a warm occluded fronts as a prefrontal widespread fog. It forms due to the interaction of two air masses.

What are the two types of taxiway lightning systems?
Answer: 1) One line of green taxiway centreline lights. 2) Two lines of blue taxiway edge lights.

The aviation knowledge test consist of more than 400 ATPL questions that are commonly asked during airline interview and assessments. The topics covered are Air Law, Human Performance, Aerodynamics, Priciple of Operation, Meteorology, and Aircraft Instrumentation.

The Tech Exam is part of the ATPL Questions:

(2) Psychometric Test (Day 1)

Personality Test:

It is almost impossible to prepare for such tests. Best way to answer these questions is to BE YOURSELF and BE HONEST!

Before you answer a personality questionnaire, find out about the organisation and decide whether you like its culture and it’s the kind of place you will thrive in. If it is, then apply confi dent in that knowledge, take time over each question and answer it in a way that shows you as the ideal candidate for the role and company.

(3) Panel Interview (Human Resources)

Panel Interview:

The Panel interview consist of Chief Pilot, Training Manager and the Head of HR. This usually takes around 20 - 30 minutes (They just want to get to know you)

(4) Simulator Assessment

Simulator Assessment:

You start at Dubai international airport runway 12L cleared for takeoff. Wind 200/25kts, don't forget the crosswind. Expect an engine failure after takeoff. You will get vectors for an ILS RWY 12L.
