Joystick Instructions

Windows (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10)

 

If you use a PC (Windows Operating System) follow the instructions below.

 

 

1 - Connect your joystick to the USB port of your computer.

 

 

2 - Click here and download Joybridge.

Note: You must install this on your computer. This might take few minutes

Extract the archive to a separate folder and open setup.exe

Click on Setup.exe. Look at the image below.

 

 

Click on Run (look at the image below)

 

 

 

This is JoyBridge Setup.

 

 

3 - Roll

Move your joystick to the left and to the right, this corresponds to roll. Select the appropriate box on JoyBridge. Look at the image below

 

 

 

4 - Pitch

Move your joystick forward (towards computer screen)  and back (toward yourself), this corresponds to the pitch. Select the appropriate box on JoyBridge. Look at the image below.

 

 

 

5 - Throttle

Move the power lever on your joystick (throttle) forward and back, this correspond to throttle. Select the appropriate box on JoyBridge. Look at the image below.

 

 

NOTE: Make sure you move the throttle (power) setting to neutral (center position 50%) on your joystick otherwise this will increase or decrease the airspeed when entering the test.

 

 

6 - Rudder Pedals

Press the right and left pedals, this will correspond to rudder pedal movment. Select the appropriate box on JoyBridge. Look at the image below.

 

 

 

7 - Calibration

We strongly recommend that you calibrate your joystick or rudder pedals before taking a test. Please look at the image below on how to calibrate. You simply need to click on this icon after you have manipulated your device.

 

 

NOTE: You must calibrate each individual axis.

 

 

8 - Play Button

Once you are done with calibration you need to click on play button to get started.

 

 

Setup completed, please try our test and see if your joystick works!

Mac OS X

 

If you use a Mac OS X follow the instructions below.

 

 

1 - Connect your joystick to the USB port of your computer.

 

 

2 - CLICK HERE and download Adobe Air

You must allow Adobe Air to be installed on your computer. Don't worry adobe software is secure.

 

 

3 - Once you have downloaded and installed Adobe Air on your computer then CLICK HERE to install Joybridge Air. Note: You must allow this application on your computer. 

 

Look at the image below.

 

 

Click on Install button when asked. Don't worry our application will not cause any security risk to your computer.

 

 

 

This is JoyBridge Setup.

 

 

4 - Roll

Move your joystick to the left and to the right, this corresponds to roll. Select the appropriate box on JoyBridge. Look at the image below

 

 

 

5 - Pitch

NOTE: MAC DOES NOT SUPPORT THORTTLE SETTING. PLEASE USE KEYBAORD KEYS.

Joystick Support Windows

 

Please only use the information below if you have not been successful during joystick instruction for Windows.

 

Please try one of the 3 options instucted below.


Option 1

First you must make sure you allow Peer Assited Networking when asked. Look at the image below.

If you dont allow and click the deny button joystick will not work.

Note that this pop up will only be asked only once if you haved checked Remember and clicked allow.

 

If the joystick is still not working close joybridge install it again and try different browsers (firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome). Please make sure the joybridge box is visible on the right bottom corner.

 

If you are still experiencing problem with your joystick then go to option 2

 


Option 2

 

A) CLICK HERE and download Joybridge Air. Once you have opend the file double click on JoyBridgeAir.exe (look at the image below)

 

 

 

B) This is the setup of joybridge Air (Look at the image below). Make sure you manipulate your joystick or rudder pedals and select the correct Axis.

NOTE: Unfortunately throttle setting does not work at this time with joybridge air. You must use keybard keys for throttle.

 

 

 

C) Make sure the blue circle is displayed on top left side of joybridge air (look at the image below). The blue circrle means that joybridge is communicating with your browser. The blue circle can only be displayed once the test is open in your selected browser.

 

 

D) Click on the play button and start the test.

 

If you are still experiencing problem with your joystick then go to option 3

 


Option 3

If you receive the pop up message like the image below when you run joybridge. This means that your virus protection on your computer is blocking our software.

Then you need to temporariy disable your antivirus software or other protection software on your computer that blocks joybridge application.

Click on this link on how you can temporarily disable your antivirus.

 


Option 4

Our fourth option is a software called joy to key.

CLICK HERE and follow the instructions. Once you are finished with the joystick setup try to access the test.
