We’re delighted to be now accepting applications from enthusiastic and motivated pilots who would like to secure a role with Jet2 for 2027 and beyond!
If you would like to be considered to become a Jet2 Pilot on either our A320 or B737 fleets, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum factorised hours per rankCurrent or Former Military Pilots are considered for all ranks
- Captain (Minimum 3,000 hours with 1,000 hours PIC on a medium-heavy commercial multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft)
- Senior First Officer (Frozen/Unfrozen ATPL Min 2000 factorised hours, 500 hours Multi Crew/Multi Engine Jet or Turbo Prop on aircraft above 10T)
- First Officer (Frozen/Unfrozen ATPL 500 hours Multi Crew/Multi Engine Jet or Turbo Prop on aircraft above 10T)
- Second Officer (100 hours on a multi-engine, multi crew aircraft & frozen ATPL or MPL)
- Valid UK Issued Pilots Licence
- Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5
- Current Class One Medical
Jet2 is a Home Office–approved sponsor and we welcome applications from eligible candidates for a UK Skilled Worker visa who currently don't have the right to work in the UK. Eligibility criteria will be discussed with you during the application process.
If you do not currently meet the requirements listed above, you may wish to consider our Jet2FlightPath programme for cadets or Future Second Officer programmea for those holding a Frozen ATPL.
