PRIVAJET is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Learjet 45 Captain to join our flight operations team in Europe. This is a key operational role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will serve as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Learjet 45 in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
As Captain, you will uphold the highest standards of airmanship, professionalism, and crew resource management (CRM). You will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as Pilot-in-Command of Learjet 45 flights under EASA (or applicable authority) regulations and the company’s AOC.
- Assume full operational responsibility and authority for assigned flights, ensuring safe, legal, and efficient conduct at all times.
- Lead the flight crew throughout all phases of flight, including pre-flight planning, execution, and post-flight review.
- Adhere strictly to company SOPs, regulatory standards, flight and duty limitations, and risk management practices.
- Conduct thorough briefings, performance planning, and coordination with Dispatch, Ground Handling, and Maintenance.
- Stay current on aircraft systems, procedures, NOTAMs, meteorology, and destination-specific information.
- Mentor and support First Officers; contribute to training and safety improvement initiatives.
- Represent PRIVAJET with professionalism in all interactions with clients, authorities, and third parties.
Minimum Requirements:
- EASA ATPL(A) with a valid Learjet 45 type rating
- Valid OPC/LPC
- Flight Radio-Telephony Operator’s Licence (VHF and HF)
- Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including at least 1,500 hours as PIC on multi-pilot, multi-engine turboprop/turbojet aircraft
- Maximum age: 62 years
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)
- Fluent in English, minimum Level 4 qualification (additional languages are a plus)
- Proven commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, even under pressure
- Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours
- Valid passport and/or work permit allowing residency and employment in Europe
- Previous experience in Business Aviation is highly desirable
- Additional type ratings or instructor qualifications (TRI/TRE) are an asset
- EASA post holder training is advantageous
