Compliance Monitoring Manager & Deputy Safety Manager Full-Time | Gatwick, UK | Circa £100,000 per annum
GOOSE Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading international aviation operator in the search for a Compliance Monitoring Manager & Deputy Safety Manager to join their growing UK team, based at Gatwick.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a nominated postholder position within a dynamic and expanding AOC, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing regulatory compliance and safety performance.

The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as the Compliance Monitoring Manager, while also supporting the safety function as Deputy Safety Manager.
You will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's continued compliance with CAA regulations and internal standards, while driving a proactive safety culture across the business.
This position will also act as the nominated person for the UK AOC, making it a critical leadership role within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring Programme across the AOC
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable UK CAA and regulatory requirements
• Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits
• Manage findings, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
• Support and deputise for the Safety Manager as required
• Promote a positive safety culture across all operational departments
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across compliance and safety

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a Compliance Monitoring Manager role within an AOC environment
• Strong understanding of UK CAA regulations
• Previous experience as a nominated postholder or deputy level within compliance or safety (preferred)
• Experience in airline or commercial aviation operations
• Strong auditing, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving organisation
