Your Competitive Edge

• Base salary of $150,000 per year, plus generous per flight hour and performance incentives
• Variable compensation based on aircraft assignment and experience.

Where You Make Your Mark

The Captain at Jet Access holds command authority across a diverse fleet of managed and charter aircraft, setting the standard for safety, airmanship, and client experience on every flight. Serving as the senior crewmember on each assignment, the Captain exercises operational control, leads the flight crew, and represents the Jet Access brand at the highest level of professionalism. This role carries both the privilege of command and the responsibility to develop the next generation of Jet Access aviators.

Leadership, Management and Accountability

• •  Set the tone for every flight assignment by modeling the safety culture, professionalism, and service standards that define Jet Access operations
• •  Provide active mentorship and in-flight guidance to assigned First Officers, supporting their development as aviators and as Jet Access professionals
• •  Deliver honest, constructive feedback to First Officers following flights, recognizing strengths and identifying areas for continued growth
• •  Foster a crew environment built on open communication, mutual respect, and shared accountability for safety and mission success
• •  Communicate observations about First Officer performance and development to the Chief Pilot to support informed decisions about crew progression

Flight Operations and Safety Excellence

• •  Conduct aircraft operations in full accordance with the Flight Operations Manual, applicable FARs, and all Jet Access company policies
• •  Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations, making final go or no-go decisions with safety as the non-negotiable priority
• •  Maintain current proficiency and currency as the required crewmember in command on all assigned aircraft types
• •  Lead pre-flight planning, weather analysis, NOTAMs review, and all flight preparation activities for the assigned crew
• •  Ensure strict compliance with flight and duty-time limitations and rest period requirements per established regulations and company policy

Client Service and Relationship Excellence

• •  Deliver premium flight experiences that consistently exceed aircraft owner and passenger expectations at every point of contact
• •  Foster outstanding client relationships through professional, attentive, and personalized response to all travel needs and preferences
• •  Coordinate client requests for itinerary changes and special requirements with the Operations Control Center in real time
• •  Conduct thorough preflight briefings and manage in-flight service to reflect the Jet Access standard of excellence throughout the trip
• •  Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that represents the Jet Access brand with distinction at all times and in all environments

Aircraft Systems and Maintenance Coordination

• •  Review flight and maintenance logs before each departure to verify airworthiness and coordinate any open items with maintenance personnel
• •  Ensure all preflight, post-flight, and routine servicing is accomplished per established policies and documented accurately
• •  Monitor and document engine trend data as requested by the Maintenance Department to support proactive aircraft health management
• •  Verify that current manuals, charts, and required equipment are aboard and compliant before each flight
• •  Coordinate with maintenance personnel for the timely accomplishment of required maintenance to minimize impact on aircraft availability

Regulatory Compliance and Documentation

• •  Ensure all flight, aircraft, and passenger records are completed accurately and submitted on time in compliance with FAR Part 135 requirements
• •  Perform the duties of Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator per 49 CFR 1544.215(b-c) on all applicable operations
• •  Verify that crew and passengers hold valid documentation for all international travel and that customs and immigration requirements are met
• •  Conduct all international arrivals and departures in full compliance with FAA, ICAO, and applicable foreign aviation authority regulations
• •  Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Access’s continued growth and success

Who Thrives in This Seat

The Skills You Carry In

• •  ATP Certificate required; current First Class Medical Certificate required
• •  3,000 hours total flying time; 1,500 hours total Pilot-in-Command time; 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC time
• •  250 hours PIC time in type and 250 hours Turbine PIC time on assigned aircraft
•    Current in type, training within the last 12 months
• •  Completed initial or recurrent training on the required aircraft type within the preceding 12 months
• •  Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations
• •  Valid state driver’s license and passport required
• •  Proficiency with digital flight planning tools, avionics systems, and web-based or mobile flight applications
• •  Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• •  Deep alignment with Jet Access core values and a demonstrated commitment to safety, excellence, and professional development

What This Role Asks of You

• •  This is a field-based, aircraft-based role; regular in-person presence at assigned base airports and charter departure points is required
• •  Domestic and international travel is inherent to the position and will include extended overnight trips and multi-day assignments
• •  Valid passport required for all international operations; customs and immigration coordination is part of the role
• •  Physical stamina required for extended flight duty periods, overnight operations, and variable environmental conditions across diverse destinations
• •  Ability to meet and maintain all FAA medical and physical standards required for Part 135 operations as Pilot-in-Command

What the Days Look Like

• •  10 day on / 5 day off schedule rotation; flexibility is essential and expected
• •  Domestic and international trip sequences may require early departures, late arrivals, and multi-day operations away from base
• •  Evening and weekend availability is required and routine; on-call periods are a standard part of the role
• •  Workload management across active trip sequences, recurrent training requirements, and compliance deadlines demands strong self-discipline and organization
• •  Level 10 Meeting and all-hands attendance expectations apply when not on trip assignment; communication with dispatch and scheduling is continuous

What Sets You Apart

• •  Experience in Part 135 or corporate flight operations with a managed fleet operator serving high-net-worth clientele
• •  Demonstrated track record of mentoring and developing junior pilots in a professional flight operations environment
• •  Familiarity with Avianis, ForeFlight Dispatch, or similar scheduling and dispatch platforms used in charter operations
• •  Extensive international flight operations experience including ICAO airspace, overwater procedures, and customs coordination
• •  History of participation in safety management system programs, audit preparation, or fleet standardization initiatives
