As an Operations Services Agent, your main objective is to support the smooth execution of daily ground operations by assisting the Operations Coordinator and Manager. You’ll play a key role in maintaining real-time system accuracy, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, and contributing to on-time performance targets through effective communication and reporting.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Coordination of internal departments and third-party suppliers to keep everyone informed about the daily operation

Communication with flight crews via VHF or ACARS, ensuring they receive all necessary information for arrivals and departures at Oslo Airport

Reporting of daily operational statistics in real-time to maintain accuracy and transparency

Flexibility to take on additional duties as assigned by the company, which may vary depending on operational needs

Reports To: Front of House Manager 
Reports Operationally (During Shift) To: Team Leader Station Control Center (SCC) 

 

Role Overview:

The Operations Services Agent is a key contributor to the day-to-day coordination of ground handling operations at Oslo Airport. This role supports real-time communication between departments, ensures systems are kept up to date and assists in maintaining operational performance. The position acts as a stepping-stone to the Operations Service Coordinator role, with a 6-month development period to demonstrate proficiency in coordination, communication, and allocation tasks.

Competence Profile (Ideal Candidate):

       Experience in an airport or airline operations environment.

Solid understanding of ground handling processes and real-time operations. 

 

Authority:

As defined within the operational structure and delegation of authority. 

Escalates issues and decisions beyond scope to the Team Leader SCC or Front of House Manager as appropriate.
