As an OPS Center Development Specialist, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

This position is responsible for the implementation of development plans for the Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC), development of methods and testing for improving the AOCC systems to support the day of operations and the development and management of the content of AOCC trainings in   accordance to regulations.  Furthermore, this job participates and support on the implementation phases of all operational concepts and projects.

• Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of the AOCC competency assessments in accordance to the departmental and regulator's requirements.
• Creation and development of the AOCC in-house trainings material and content in accordance to the relevant manuals, departmental needs and aviation industry trends.
• Delivery of AOCC in-house technical training in compliance with regulations such as (Apron Safety, Aircraft recognition and flight planning, etc.).
• Responsible for the delivery of Airport Operation System (AOS) training.
• Support the line manager on projects related   but not limited to: system, operational, development of concepts, operational improvement initiatives) executions, by coordinating with the MATAR and external stakeholders such as (QAS, QR, CAA, etc.).
• Responsible for testing of AOCC system changes and to develop a testing and recording methodology.
• Provide technical expertise to the information system team in major application deployment by assisting in designing process to arrive at high performance and optimal operational solutions.
• Develop consolidated operational dashboard analyses and reports of customer experience data to the management team and individual stakeholders.
• Deliver initiatives that will reduce manual workload by evaluating the workload and conducting process engineering to ensure automation of operational procedures, for monitoring and decision making during the day of operation.
• Perform analysis and investigation of incidents related to AOCC with the scope of highlighting patterns, trends, areas of improvement and opportunities for training.  Support Line Manager by designing and presenting conclusions gained from analysis.
• Attend and contribute to the Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly meetings with MATAR Management to understand the business requirements, share AOCC related information/updates to support the enhancement of business-related processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss operational matters and/or projects providing current and targeted outcome that will help the AOCC and business improvements.
• Provide guidance to AOCC duty team on how to achieve high utilization of AOCC systems for the benefit of the business and real time operations as well.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Must have experience in flight data management and airport hard resources allocation.
• Experience on Airport Operational Systems (AOS) and experience on ground handling operations.
• Must have knowledge on ATC procedures, ICAO, ACI and IATA directives. Preferred
• On the job experience on a live Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACOM) environment.
• Project management credentials
• Prior experience on project management or Project management credential should be considered as plus.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
• Analytical thinking and Project management skills.
