FLYINGGROUP, a rapidly growing business jet operator in Europe, is looking to fill in the vacancy of a Flight Dispatcher for the Operational Control Centre at the main office in Antwerp.

Your goal

The main task consists of planning, preparing, and monitoring all FlyingGroup’s worldwide flights, taking into account the Customer’s needs, the chosen destination and route, the most suitable aircraft available, the crew on hand, etc.

Your tasks

The planning and preparation of all FlyingGroup’s flights and performing detailed operational calculations.

• Worldwide flight planning by evaluating NOTAMS, weather, route, performance and weight & balance.
• Perform feasibility checks and detailed operational calculations.
• Arranging ground handling, slots, PPR, and fuel. Obtaining permits, and traffic rights.
• Customs formalities.
• Crew planning, flight duty and rest limitations.
• Coordination with the crew.
• Flight Watch. The monitoring of the actual flights and taking appropriate action to tackle any irregularity.
• Inhouse training.

Your profile

• You are highly customer-minded and pay full attention to the particulars of each Customer.
• Good communication skills, meaning a good (spoken and written) knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You are well organized, stress-resistant and able to multitask.
• You have good geographical knowledge.
• Experience in aviation is a must, experience in business aviation is a plus. Previous experience in Flight Dispatching is an advantage.
• You have good computer knowledge and are familiar with PPS Airsupport, Jeppesen.
• Have knowledge of aviation terminology, IATA and ICAO codes.
• You are flexible, and willing to work in shifts and during weekends.
• You are a great team player and have a passion for aviation.
