Your role
As an AMP Specialist in the Maintenance & Engineering Department, you will be responsible for continued compliance with Part M/Part Camo and the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME). Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring safety, efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities as an AMP Specialist will include:
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of current CAME and related procedures.
- Create & develop AMP for both the A320 Family and A330 Fleets for both the Irish & UK operation.
- Ensure compliance with ETOPS (Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards).
- Ensure the AMP effectiveness reviews are conducted as per regulatory requirements.
- Maintain AMP procedures, and ensure they align with the CAME and regulatory requirements.
- Review Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data in terms of maintenance recommendations.
- Endure Compliance Non-Conformances (NC) are addressed in a timely manner.
- Assist in aircraft acceptance and redelivery.
- Liaise with Planning Department for AMP proper implementation and forecasting.
- Promote safety culture; hazard reporting, including self-reporting using SMS.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned regularly by the Maintenance Program Lead.
- Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Hold a 3rd Level Engineering Degree or an EASA Part 66 B1 or equivalent.
- AMOS experience highly desirable, particularly with Maintenance Programmes or Planning.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in an aircraft Technical Services environment, preferably within an airline, MRO or leasing company with a background on A320/A330 aircraft with CFM/CF6/LEAP engine types.
- Knowledge of Part M, Part CAMO, and Safety Management Systems (SMS) and other aircraft regulatory requirements.
- Strong working knowledge Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams etc).
- Knowledge of Maintenance Programs, MSG-3 analysis, and OEM documentation.
- Experience in writing technical work instructions and technical reports.
- Knowledge of Airbus Technical Documentation.
- General Familiarisation or Type Course on A320 or A330 family aircraft.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Proven ability to manage various projects at one time, in a continually changing environment.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
